Júlia Pusker

Júlia Pusker was born in Hungary, studied at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, and later with György Pauk at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Her recent highlights include her debut at Wigmore Hall as well as a performance of Beethoven's Violin Concerto with the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège under the baton of Gergely Madaras. As a soloist, she has also appeared with the Basel Chamber Orchestra, performing Bartók’s Violin Concerto No. 1. Other notable collaborations include the Belgian National Orchestra, the Budapest Festival Orchestra, and the Brussels Philharmonic.

Júlia was selected for the European Concert Hall Organisation's (ECHO) Rising Stars program for the 2023–24 season. She has performed in Europe's most prestigious concert halls, such as Casa da Música Porto, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Konserthuset Stockholm, Kölner Philharmonie, Philharmonie de Paris, and Wiener Konzerthaus.

Her latest recordings include Eric Tanguy's Violin Concerto No. 2 with the Jyväskylä Sinfonia conducted by Ville Matvejeff and her solo album with Zoltán Fejérvári titled "Schubert on Violin."

She plays the 1714 "Massart" Antonio Stradivari violin.
