Hana Louženská

Hana Louženská graduated from the Conservatory in České Budějovice and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in the class of doc. Miroslav Langer. She further enriched her studies with a one-year scholarship at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels with prof. Jan Michiels and also attended number of piano master classes given by Avo Kouyoumdjian, Pierre Jasmin, Eva Solar-Kindermann, Walter Groppenberger and others. After graduating, she began to focus mainly on chamber music and piano collaboration. As a member of the Taras piano trio, she won several 1st prizes at international competitions such as Johannes Brahms competition, Premio Rovere d'Oro and Val Tidone. She currently works as an accompanist at the Gymnázium a Hudební škola hl. m. Prahy. She often collaborates with the Prague Philharmonic Children's Choir and is a member of the piano quartet The Fortyfingers.
